Partner & Co-founder, Dasra
As co-founder, Neera plays a leading role in bringing managerial skills, knowledge and critical analysis to Dasra. She led the launch of the Dasra Social Impact Leadership Program with Harvard, a first-of-its-kind executive education program for social sector leaders in India. She has supported the analysis of over 75 Dasra sector reports and has helped accelerate the growth of several Dasra portfolio organizations by 10-20x.
Neera played a pivotal role in engaging USAID, Piramal Foundation and Kiawah Trust to form the Dasra Girl Alliance, and more recently its successor, 10to19: Dasra Adolescents Collaborative, a multi-party partnership to empower more than five million adolescents in India by 2021.
Neera holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is an Indian Leadership Initiative Fellow with Aspen Institute. She is a recipient of the Canadian Governor General’s Medallion for her dedication to addressing the persistent challenges of poverty in India.
